چکیده

Abstract: The empirical management literature has found that the education of both managers and workforce more generally appears to be an important driver better practices. This article sets out how such relationships might conceptualized, suggests in a complementarities framework, modern practices can thought as type skill-biased technology. It then summarizes explored between human capital surveyed manufacturing firms other sectors, highlighting handful papers have positive correlation measures local skills supply. concludes with discussion policy implications stem from what we know so far, together avenues for future research could shed light on causal mechanisms at play.
